Core Coaching Process

1 – Core 360° Assessment
The Core360 Assessment is a web-based assessment that provides a comprehensive snapshop of the competencies and leadership styles of business leaders. 75 questions lead to 15 factors of leadership. Participants receive a 20-page customized report that represents the feedback from their immediate supervisor, peers, and direct reports in comparison to their self assessment.
2 – Data Collection
We ask the participant for other information that adds clarity and also creates a thorough approach in the formation of their development plan. This includes:
- Organization Chart: This helps us identify the details of reporting structure relative to superiors, peers, direct reports, and staff.
- StrengthsFinder Assessment: A Strengths Discovery and Action-Planning Guide featuring: A customized version of your top five theme report; 50 Ideas for Action for building on your top five themes; A strengths-based action plan for setting goals.
3 – The Individualized Development Plan
After the 360º feedback and other data have been collected, we analyze the information and develop a synopsis of the findings. During the first one-on-one coaching session, the client and coach use this information* to create a development plan that includes a list of training goals and timeframes. By incorporating this information, we create a training plan that is tailored to the individual’s specific needs, and is attainable. *All information and results remain strictly confidential.
4 – One-on-One Coaching
We work with the client to schedule the one-on-one coaching sessions for maximum effectiveness. Engagements can range from as few as five 2-hour sessions to commitments that span 6-12 months.
The typical coaching session lasts for four hour, is scheduled at a time that is convenient for the client, and can be held at our offices, the client’s, or by video conference.
5 – Reassessment and Reinforcement
To assess progress that the participant has made, at the completion of the coaching sessions, we prepare a summary report. This report contrasts progress to original information collected, and outlines any ongoing development needs.
Periodic follow-up sessions are conducted as necessary, usually on a quarterly basis. These follow-up sessions serve many purposes. They help to cement change, identify new needs arising from developments in the company and its markets, and provide further opportunities for targeted coaching for key meetings and presentations.
